Digital Marketing Vs Email Marketing
Actually this is not relevant to do comparison between digital marketing and email marketing. Because digital marketing is very wide in itself and email marketing is considered to be a part of a digital marketing.

We should compare Digital Marketing vs Traditional marketing. When we say Digital Marketing is the internet version of our digital version of the traditional market, then it means as many methods the traditional market it was following as many or more methods digital marketing have.
What is Digital Marketing?
Digital marketing is the marketing where we use the internet and applications based upon the internet. We have seen that people are now engaging more and more on mobiles and laptops. So the concept to promote our service, product or business on that mobile/laptop is evolved in the form of Digital Marketing. There are a lot of aspects in digital marketing these are as follow:
- We need to create a website/Mobile application for our business.
- we need to rank this website or mobile applications in the top most pages of SERP( search engine result page). For this we perform SEO( Search Engine Optimisation).
- Then we have to create our existence on social media for example Facebook, Instagram Twitter, Telegram, WhatsApp Snapchat etc.
- Now to share or promote yourself we have many of the methods.
- Sharing about your business on Facebook/ Instagram, in the form of regular updates and posts.
- sharing your business content via text messages to the targeted users.
- promoting your services, product or business Via WhatsApp or Telegram.
- promoting your business via emails to the targeted users.
- and many more….
The point 4(d) is nothing but email marketing. and it is very clear to see that email marketing is the part of digital marketing We can say email marketing is the subset of Digital Marketing.
Now if we question what is better email marketing for Digital Marketing then you can understand no relevance. But yes question should be is email marketing efficient or not?
So my answer is: That depends…
That depends on your business style/nature/product and many more. However in a broad sense we consider digital marketing to promote your business while email marketing is to target its users to sell our products. it means when we send email to users then our primary focus is to sell the product instead to promote a brand our business.
